Where to save your files

It is recommended that you use Google Drive to save your personal files.

Why use Google Drive?

• Your files are backed up, so you are protected from data loss in the event that your laptop is lost, stolen or damaged.
• Your files are available everywhere. Forgot your laptop? No problem, you can log into Google Drive and get your files on any computer.
• Your Berman Google account gives you access to unlimited storage in your Google Drive.
• Google Drive makes it easy to share files and collaborate with others.

How do you use it?

• You can access your Google Drive in any web browser by going to drive.google.com
• If you are using non-Google file types (Microsoft Office, PDF, Smart Notebook, etc.), the recommended method for accessing your Google Drive is Google Drive for desktop. This allows you to open and save these file types without having to download and reupload them.
  • If you received a laptop from Berman, Google Drive for desktop is already installed.
  • You can also install it on your home computer.
